After seeing the Belscort shills latest angle of attack it made me stop and think. There argument is that the 3.864 & 3.863 units tested at GoL where inferior, thus some how Belscort had a superior showing.
So I went back and examined past GoL tests where we used those two revisions. Guess what? When they where new fresh out of the box they dominated.
So ask yourself these questions...
Has my Valentine been through several extremely hot & cold seasons?
If so send it in for a tune up. Ever since I changed over to the 3.813 I have been sending mine in religiously every year for a tune up. This year I didn't send it in before the GoL tests because I wanted to see how the numbers would look if I waited a year.
From what I can tell mine doesn't need a tune up, but for $40 and a few days, I think it's a worthy expense.
Now I just have to convince myself I don't need it for those few days
