there are many differ pre pop V1s,but most people say 3.812/13 are best,why is that?

I think that the only way to tell is have both units tuned up at the same time and have it tested at the same time.
A newly tuned V1 will always be hot.

Oh but trust me they own. So much so that I'm selling my 9500ix. It wasn't even close between the 2 RDs. The 3.812 V1 sometimes doubles my 9500ix on 34.7 C/O

Happya$$ swears by the 3.813 and you see alot of other forum members are saying the same thing. I wish i had one, but i've heard they are hard to come by. Can somebody tell me this about the 3.813, does it false as much or more than anyother version.

What is a 3.813 worth?

I saw one for $350.00? I came across a local Craiglist last month and the person was asking this price and said firm on their ad.

I'm not sure what these older detectors are worth, but $350 is a bit steep imo. Especially since the seller stated that it may need a tune up.
