Default 3.864...ever any resolution to ghosting?

I have a 3.864 which I find the bogey counter to be absolutely worthless b/c of ghosting. It was a 3.813 which I foolishly upgraded (but I just bought another 3.813 for 2nd car).

Was there ever any resolution to this version? Is ghosting resolved? Should I spend even more and upgrade it or just live with it?

    Thanks

Well, to tell you the truth I went through a period of which the 3.864 seemed like it ghosted a lot. Now it doesn't but I'm still looking to dump it because of all the test results and the decision to upgrade your v1 3.813= * 1000.

From what many users reported on here 3.872 fixed the ghosting issue. 3.872 has been out for a while now and it's still their current version.

I just sent in my 863 for ghosting since new. I'm supposed to get it back tomorrow evening so I'll know more in the next few days if they fixed it or not.

Did you buy it used? VR was shipping 3.872's in December of 2008, possibly earlier.
