Want to try to beat Instant-on (I/O), MPH Pop or Stalker quick trigger or even Laser? Does it scare you when your hit with a full blast signal? There are options, here are three things you can do; Slam on the brakes, or apply the brakes soon as you get to them, or let off of the gas to coast to the PSL. The forth one you can not say on this site, it is a family site? Opps, you can pray or roll down the window to let the smell out. OK! This is the point. You react the fastest to a loud highest alert warning when hit which will be the Laser and any Ka (there are no Ka program settings that will effect Ka except Ka guard or pop). So, would you want Laser and Ka and any strong X or K punch thru to be set at full volume so you can slam on your brakes? Then any weak X or K alerts to be less loud of the former two as long as you have the distant indication for I/O with the little l mode arrow(s), (again there is no setting for the Ka)? Of course, the lever would be set at a noticeable lower volume with light indication getting you ready to slow down, i.e., a lesser warning that is fixing to happen soon (in little l mode). This is to get you programed in hitting the brakes when in danger and just let off of the gas when a weak signal shows up, loud and soft volumes. The V1 does not have a way to program all bands at different setting which is needed. I think setting the arrows down for #7 is a starter in little l mode but I am trying #7, #8, A and b down for quiteness on the highway with visual and low volume alarms for weak X and K for distance, and for Big L in cities for the X and K false alarms. Volume at 3/4 and lever 1/4 on. The down side is that I like to run in the Big L mode to get ride of the rarely used X band while the CPU will still break in and warn if it thinks it might be radar and not a door opener, not possible with this two volume setting in Little l mode down the interstate. Another down side is if you listen to loud music. Also hitting the brakes at reaction time when someone is behind you is not good either nor when on a wet pavement. So, does the two volume setting program you to hit the brakes and clean your brake pads when needed for those nasty hits? Is there a better way (without a Laser Jammer nor Veil) to respond or program the V1 for I/O?
