Thread: Hardwire V1

    Default Hardwire V1

I'm wanting to Hardwire my V1

But also planning to buy a remote switch and concealed unit

    This apparently requires a splitter...

So I was wondering is there anything special about the splitter or is it like your average phone RJ11 splitter?

I have for my current set up a V1 followed by a direct hardwire with mute button and a CD and I used a regular phone splitter make sure it has all four plugs on the inside and you will be fine.

Search around for a Safe-n-Sound on the auction sites. It's only about $20 and is plug-n-play with a mute button, connectors and a fuse. It's basically just a modified phone plug adapter but it works and is a pretty good deal.
