I really wish I had a video of this... I was bored and decided to go radar hunting on the interstate. Traffic was mild but steadily moving at 75-80 mph. I was about to pass a semi truck in front of me going up a slight hill, when I get a 1 LED signal strength Ka blip with the V1 front arrow lit that lasts 1.5 seconds. I continue to pass at about 75 mph as the truck started slowing down to 60 mph due to the hill.
Once I finished passing the truck, I again get a foward facing Ka alert from the V1 this time with 2-3 LEDs signal strength that lasts 1.5 seconds. After these two alerts it got me thinking, are they using quick trigger? I continue driving going up and down small hills and curves for 1.5 miles with no alerts until I see someone has been invited to a roadside disco ahead from a Georgia State Patrol Dodge Charger. I felt bad for the victim, but I had the biggest grin on my face as I couldn't believe the range I was getting from the V1 through hills and curves. Unbelievable.
