    Default 3.813 ghosted again.

This makes it four times now. Strong Ka band from a LEO traveling towards me. V1 alerted to one Ka band source, when the LEO was next to me (passing) it went to two Ka band alerts and stayed until the alerts died off.

That's what you get when the rear antenna's on steroids I guess. I'm thinking about using the 3.864 as my primary detector again.

See I don't understand why people say close range ghosting is a bad thing.

I actually find it nice when I am driving at night I can know when the leo in the other lane it right on top of me

Won't your 3.864 ghost more than your 3.813?

I don't like it. The V1 going full tilt alert is enough for me.

3.864 never ghosted on Ka, and only one or two times on X.

Yes, bogey lock tone with two arrows.

There was only one LEO with one radar gun. The count should have been one.

It's just the physics of how dopplar radar works... it's not like every wave that hits the v1 has the serial number to introduce itself with.
