I think it's the newest becuase i called VR and asked them about the "J" problem before ordering and they told me it was fixed. So a few days later i went ahead and order it. Got it brand new from VR 3 weeks again.

by the way guys, how do you check the Firmware on your V1?

i can't believe this. I got my V1 one week ago, and it was 3.825. Now 3.826 is out?????????? *BEEP* that sucks!

My friend, you are looking at this the wrong way. This is the kind of continued innovation that induced me into making the purchace in the first place. V-1 backs their stuff period.

I am 100% sure because that is what VR tech told me. That I have 3.826 firmware.

Just got off the phone with a VR tech Starting today New unit wil be shipped with 3.286 firmware. All this update does is fix the bogey tone of K band.

Now they are downgrading the units firmware.....

I know you meant to say 3.826 not 3.286
