    much easier to mount it by the rear view mirror and have the best range!

    Yea kinda seems like a odd place to mount! Seems like the back seat would block rear reception!

    Ya I have a friend that stuck it like that on the passenger side in the BMW and they mentioned that it still gave ample warning even when some one sat in the seat. Though they were comparing it to a Bel 550i

    That doesn't look too bad ... I wonder if it stays level, though.

    Why not make a cavity for the unit inside th head rest and make it much stealthy...
