    Red face Multanova?

    Hey guys,

Being in Calgary and area, I'm wondering what settings would be worth turning on to better catch Multanova traps.

I'm unsure if I should be turning on "Euro Mode", because that will compromise the existing V1 settings/sensitivities, or am I wrong there?

I've looked at the Lidar guys stuff, which shows I do get some limited warning, but will Euro mode help at all?

    Thanks!

Turn on the Euro Mode, this mode concentrates on the frequencies used in Europe.

Please take the time to read the V1 manual, it's also available online.

Depending on your software version, I believe there's also a Euro X-band mode.

And all that above multanovas frequency. Is it 6F? Be careful with other Ka-band radars when turning on euro-mode.

For Multanova "Euro Mode" ON and "KA Guard" OFF is recommended.

You have to check if the V1 still detects other radars which is used in your area: http://www.radardetector.net/forums/...rs-answer.html

    Unhappy Re: Multanova?

They've had Multanova's for a number of years... You don't see them much in the winter, but spring and summer they have them around.

It seems I lose something if I turn Euro on, according to the frequency coverage link above... Maybe I'll just turn Ka Guard off, which should improve the sensitivity, and hope for the best.
