VR was seeking a Spectre RDD unit for research.
Someone should loan them that.
Just a thought.
Happy Hunting!

I am surprised a company like V1 cannot get their hands on one.
I'm sure they want to keep them out of VR's hands!! But i doubt they tried very hard to get one.
Valentine One (3.858 Ice Cream Truck, 3.812 in Vette)
4 Head LI (On Vette) (7.11 CPU Regular heads front, HP Heads on the rear)
9500ci (On Vette)
LI Quad (On Ice Cream Truck)
LI Dual (On SRX, 7.06 CPU)
ProLaser II, ProLaser III, Stalker LZ-1, LTI Marksman & Laser Atlanta "R" (looking for an Ultralyte LRB)
2008 Corvette Z-51 Coupe
Escort 9500 ix (Cadillac SRX)
There are a few folks on here who own one.
How hard could it be....
Like I said they probably tried but not very hard.
Conversation must have gone about like this:
VR: Hey this is Valentine Research and we want to purchase on of your Spectre IV units so we can figure out how to make our detectors immune to it.

That report is probably 7-8 years old, so I suspect if Valentine wanted to get one, they've probably gotten one by now.
I suspect it all comes down to supply and demand.
RDD's aren't in used that much, with the exception of VA, DC and some parts of Canada.
VR most likely didn't want to put the $$$$ into this project.
