VR was seeking a Spectre RDD unit for research.

Someone should loan them that.

You can call Stalker and they will sell you one if you have the $. So not hard at all. Sometimes they even sell older models that are refurbed for a more reasonable price.

That report is probably 7-8 years old, so I suspect if Valentine wanted to get one, they've probably gotten one by now.

I suspect it all comes down to supply and demand.

RDD's aren't in used that much, with the exception of VA, DC and some parts of Canada.

VR most likely didn't want to put the $$$$ into this project.

I bet it was exactly like that. VR will probably go with the V1 updates to 3.899 or something and then they'll pop out the V2. Hopefully it will be stealth, maybe some voice options for those that want it, gps integration? idk All I know is that I will buy it
