I told them that I'm a V1 user for 3 years, etc, etc. And that I'm wondering if they're cooking up anything. From the sounds of it I DOUBT they will release anything for quite some time

Honestly, here's how I look at it.

I had Escort's until about 2005, then I switched to V1.


V1 as of right now, has a pretty good product. Sure there may be ways to improve it, but sometimes if you start adding more and more to a product, at the end, there's too much and you lose focus.

Secondly, they are pretty tight lipped about it, so I don't think they're going to tell you anything.

The last but not least, If there are any major changes in the tools LE uses, I'm sure V1 will address them.

Agreed. The way I think Mike V looks at all this is why should I change the V1 when it works extremely well already? I personally think the V1 is just fine the way it is.
