Default first road trip with the v1

I'll be taking my v1 on its first road trip since I got it in August. I live in NJ and will be making the trip down 95 to Myrtle Beach, SC. I have used it on 3 hour drives across PA but this will be my first extended trip. I intend to use it through Virgina even though I'm nervous about it. Although last summer I made the same drive using a Beltronics V940 without an issue. I just tuck it up behind my tint strip so it is no longer visible. Only thing it did was save me from a county sheriff using Ka around a curve. I'm leaving at 3am so I should be entering VA somewhere in the the 630am range so I don't think I'll encounter too many cops but we'll see. Any one have any tips or suggestions. My v1 is set to default settings and I usually use A mode. I think I should be fine and hopefully I dont encounter any laser or instant on.

You should notice a HUGE difference between the V1 and the 940.

Once you enter VA, keep your eyes peeled and if the rd makes a peep on k or ka, turn it off until you id the threat or pass the false. No nose dipping either.

Have done the run from NJ to Myrtle Beach many times.

Be very careful in Va ~10 miles north of the NC line (near Emporia, Va). Always lots of trooper activity and a favorite place to pull over speeders.

    Have a safe trip!
