    Default Time For A Change

Got off work yesterday evening and was just cruising when a Norfolk city unmarked car pulled up behind me and followed me for about a half mile on VA Beach Blvd. I had the V1's sound muted just chilling when he lit me up. He asked me if I had a RD and of course I said no as it is well hidden. He looked into the car and in front of the car and told me to have a nice day. I've had various versions of V1's since the mid-90's and have the latest version but it's time for the STI as I don't want to have to keep turning the V1 on and off. This sucks!

    Hi DoggDriver,

I would recommend for anyone that lives in these RD Banned states should use the STI. When I had mine before I sent it back it was a very good RD.

I would actually look at the escort redline as it is more sensitive than the sti while still immune to rdd

Could you post up a pic of where you installed you V1? Curious minds want to know. =)

x2 on some pictures! Also my vote would be on a Redline since you have grown use to the V1's performance.

Why would you let it run with him behind you? Do you have a kill switch? He might have a RDD.

I would pick the Redline over the STI.

Where do you have it mounted? He could not find it? Also why did you not turn it off with the Leo behind you?

-This isn't 1995 anymore, a kill switch is no substitute for stealth.

We have the technology... well Belscort does.

You shouldn't have to work for your RD, it should work for you...

So, if you live where RD's are illegal... go with an RD that fits your needs... The Redline or an Sti.

-I mean Jordan doesn't play for the Bulls anymore, why should you have to play the on/off game with your RD...
