Default Motorola Droid Causing V1 false detection

Just wondering if anyone has experienced this. It doesn't happen all of the time, but every once in a while (like this morning) if I am talking on (or turn the phone's screen on) the phone while driving (bluetooth headset) my V1 will indicate 1 bogey to the rear with a signal strength of one or two dots. It will use the Ka audio alert, but shows no lights for band.

It happens all over the place. I have also pulled over a couple of times to see if an officer comes up from behind and have never seen one. Source direction stays the same unless i move the phone in front or to the side of the V1, and then the signal drops off.

    Any thoughts?

I have a Droid and have had nothing but chatter from my V1 who's chatter has always been there but not as much. I think its my phone that is setting off my detector. I have the WIFI ap on my phone. I have noticed that when I am near WIFI that my V1 is sending a laser alert. I have since deleted that application and my V1 is normal. I don't think its my truck that is setting it off. I never had this problem on my last 2 Excursions. The only think that has changed is my phone. What applications do you have on your phone?

I've a droid, I keep the GPS off, blue tooth off, but WIFI on.

V1 has yet to give any false alerts. Where are your detectors mounted?

I keep bluetooth on (and connected to the GM stereo when I'm in the car) and GPS on, but WIFI off. I don't bring my phone out of my pocket most of the time, unless I'm using the GPS.
I haven't noticed any related falses, but I'll try to do some testing of the placement of the phone tomorrow.

Never got interference from my DROID, do you have POP on?

My V1 is mounted high above RVM and my DROID is mounted on my GPS mount on the windshield or my hip with blue tooth on or GPS on.

Droid with all communication enabled and no issues with my V1.

Maybe you should try holding the phone right next to the V1 and see if you can cause it to false and see if the signal is any stronger?
