Random Laser Falses?

I get random laser falses on my V1. It's happened to me three times since I got it, exactly a week ago. All three times have been on the highway, on different spots. Twice it has been from the back, once from the front. Is this uh...normal? Because everytime it happens I get the bejeesus scared out of me. >_<

probibly caused by neon brake lights from cars infront, it can also be set off by laser cruise control!

That's why I thought. Until I realized that all three times have been very late at night, with almost no cars on the road. And I don't use cruise control.

Check your voltage. Low votage causes laser alerts in a V1.

And at night, headlights are on, and they take power and reduce voltage :idea:

You have to take the good with the bad. The V1 provides the BEST laser detection in the industry, light years ahead of the competition in terms of LIDAR performance. With that being said it also falses on laser from time to time.

Mine falses laser every single day on neon signs, sometimes when i'm in front of a car with cruise control the rear laser beeps, sometimes if i'm passing one in the opposite lane it also beeps. My friend's 2002 3 series bmw's tail brake lights sets off my V1. That is soooooo damn annoying coz me and him were driving fast last time and i was behind him when he braked my v1 screamed laser and scared the heck out of me.
