Default Received the V1 today. Yeah!

Well I got the V1 this morning and got to test it a little bit and this thing is chatty, to say the least, but I like it. The arrows rock! Just may take a bit to get used to the different tones.
I was also hoping that the Escort smart cord would work with the V1 but it disables everything on it (mute, programming) so I guess I will be Rewiring the unit today with the cord that came with it.

Also, I am thing about the concealed display. Does anyone use that and if so, do you like it? I would guess that it just connects to the power module, right?

Thanks, I think this one may be a keeper.

    Welcome Aboard

The CD is nice addition. You can place it close to your field-of-view so you don't have to look away from the road.
When attached, the display on the man unit is disabled so you are not advertising your V-1 to the world

be sure to read the manual

Welcome to the V1 family. Once you get to know the tones and how to understand what its telling you, You'll never look back again. The CD is a nice add on I just run my hardwired and above the RVM but someday I might get the CD.

Keep us up to date how you like it

I have the CD with custom colors. There should be a pic on my profile. I have it mounted right below the speedometer on the steering column. It's like one stop shopping you get your speed and radar information in one place.

Yeah, it is a great little detector. I have been testing it all day and the range seems pretty good and picks up pretty much everything. I have found signals that I didn't even know were there. I likey!!!

I ordered the color concealed display, thanks v1 user.

Thanks everyone. Can't wait for my first save with this beast.
