Leave k band Alone or not

Hey everyone. I'm currently in orange county and I went ahead and applied all the necessary k band automuting settings. The only problem I have is that when i pull into a center or get stuck at a light. I'm contemplating turning k band off altogether and wanted to get the general consensus on the situation. Thanks

Read it. Found only one place i know of that uses k the other like 2 are somewhere farrrr away lol

Well, if you are 100 percent sure than turn it off, unless you want to make a post in the regional section asking the local members by you if they still use K.

run in Advanced Logic mode

when entering a known K-band area, switch to logic-mode
even if you forget to change it, you're still protected

I would leave K on.Some Leos still use it.I know it is a nuisance but better be safe than sorry.

Well hunter what im doing is running it with Advanced Logic on, with k band automute. I'm getting maybe 1 false a day. Week 2 with the valentine one and no LEO"s in sight lol.

What Hunter said. Today on the ride home the V1 starts going nuts in K band on the highway where it usually picks up the X band from several stores near the overpass. I almost ignored it but just happened to glance at the remote display and thought WTF? Sure enough the township police cruiser is running with constant K blasting everyone in sight. Chalk up a save to the remote display where I would've normally ignored the alerts.
