    Default short notice on ka?

    I was out in about testing out my v1 came across a Leo sitting in a lot facing oncoming traffic around a curve I was not very impressed I figer I would have picked the Leo up way sooner running constant on ka
    What wondering what you guy think is the v1 working like it should why such a short notice on ka.

    Well, I guess you kind of answered your own question. I've had more than a few encounters around curves with absolutely no warning before I saw them myself. Any radar detector will have issues when it comes to obstructions.

    That is a problem with curves.

    That's possible, but I have had several constant on K and Ka encounters around curves, which I had no alert on until seeing the leo. Either situation is possible I suppose, although he did get a few blips a good ways before, so it could have very well been instant on.

    You could still pick up scatter from cars in front of you, (that should set your RD off) from around the corner as well, that is assuming there is others in front that is.......
