It seems as if most of you all live in urban environments, so this may not be much of an issue for you, but for me, it gets annoying. I've had 4 or 5 encounters within the last week where I was stuck behind a tractor and getting strong K band alerts. The roads are so curvy around here that there's no passing the tractors. Sure, I simply turn the volume down, it's just one of those little things that annoys me on occasion. I had one crappy situation yesterday where I was going down a road with a 25 mph speed limit, I then started getting weak K band alerts, so I slowed down to the psl. After about 10 minutes of doing 25 mph, sure enough, I come to a tractor putting down the road, which is what was causing the alerts. That is by far the furthest away that I have ever picked up such a thing. Anyways, I've read on here that there are speed sensors on tractors that emit K band frequencies. Is that correct?
