    Default Wait, Turning "PoP" off.....

Turning pop off gives more range on the V1? Or is this just an assumption?

It might possibly increase the sensitivity with it off, but we don't know that for sure, we plan to try it at the GOL test next weekend.

This time, please remember that the RX65 has Accusweep (narrowband) and normal/wideband, so please test the normal/wideband when comparing with the X50 otherwise the results will look weird like in the last GoL radar test (which showed the RX65 strangely having more distance).

Forgive this question if it's been beaten to death but I'm evaluating the V1 versus the Escort 8500x50 for purchase. I was not aware the POP feature on the V1 could be disabled as this is not addressed in the owners manual I downloaded from Valentine.com.

:?: Can the POP feature be easily disabled on the V1 ver1.8 (3.826) detector? Thanks.

Did I miss it? Did the V-1 do better with POP on or Off?

The only reason anybody might turn off POP is to reduce Ka falsing. It makes a world of difference if that kind of thing drives you nuts.
