Well, I pulled the trigger on a V1 last week. I got it Friday. My initial impressions are? Well, let’s say I'm not overly impressed. In all fairness though, it is too early to make a final judgment as of yet. I kind of felt this way about my Redline when I first bought it. My redline beats it in all bands 98% of the time, but I will say, I love the arrows, and the bogy counter. I do run them both at the same time though. I know some will say not to, but I'm still playing w/ the theory of it. I have yet to get some road time w/ it, maybe next Monday I will take a trip to Williamsburg to see how it does. I will have to be careful, as I live in VA, and I don’t want to get snagged by VSP w/ spectre. Settings are pop off, x off, ka guard off, all others at factory default. .

When you run the Redline and V1 togother there is Interference. The Redline needs to be tested by Guys of Lidar along with the V1 seperately.

LOL...I know. It's not a slam. I will have to work w/ it some more to build up my confidence. I plan on keeping it for out of VA travel, to compliment my Redline.

I think the older V1 s are better than the new ones, just my opinion.

When you run the Redline and V1 togother there is Interference. The Redline needs to be tested by Guys of Lidar along with the V1 seperately.

I find that somewhat hard to see. The RL is not supposed to "leak" LO. I turn the V1 on first, let it stabilize for a minute, and then bring up the RL. I need to experiment w/ this to see how things work out. Maybe bring up the RL first, let it cal, then bring up the V1.

I'm sure theres a break in period for it as well so dont condemn it yet.

My Cobra was getting faster Ka than my Escort when i first got it (i assumed interference played a role though so i didnt think anything of it). My Ka is STILL getting better 2 months into owning it. I had my first 1.5 mile alert on C/O Ka - something i thought i'd never see based on 1st day's performance.
