V1 v. I've Seen the Light

My girlfriend got me a V1 for our anniversary/Christmas and it arrived today! I was a long-time Escort enthusiast. I had the 8500, X50, and the 9500i. I had sold them and been without a radar for a while now.. I've always missed it.

One morning driving to school I received a ticket that Im sure I wouldn't have had if I had a radar on me- the LEO was either running K or Ka and got me because I was half-asleep.

HOWEVER, I'm now a V1 owner and super excited. I had a great experience with it today.. but need to read up on how to turn off X-band (Texas resident here, and the LEO's dont use X-band).

Anyway, I'm also new to the forum so wanted to chime in here. Hope everyone has been having a wonderful holiday!
