    Default v1 gol tests

my previous topic is locked out, so i'm reinquiring about which is better based on the gol data- the v1 or the sti

does anyone also know the sensitivity differences between the two?
i really like the upgradeability of the v1, but am also interested in knowing whether bel is also committed to upgradeability like valentine is?

    thanks in advance

After the tests, I don't think anyone can pick a winner anymore. They all have their strengths......

The biggest question is do you need the stealth? If not then who cares about it? I would choose the Arrows......

In Ohio where Stealth is not relevant, I'd go with the Rx65 for value or the V1 for the additional arrows feature.

Other than that I'd say based on the results both will do you very well.

For the first time ever I can say go with the V1 since it's a better bang for your buck! Thank you STI for taking off some of the heat.

You'll notice now the x50 uses who were critical of V1 about pricing are no strangely quiet. I don't think x50 users will accuse the STI owners of snobbery like they did the v1 users.

I think it is very interesting when new RDs come out. Everyone asks the question "Will it beat the V1??!!" Each time a product comes out it tries to go after the V1 in one way or another. Yea yea you get a cool case but so what. Is that money you spent for the case going to save you on the road? I like knowing all my money is going right to a company that just makes a RD! For those of you who might be thinking that I dislike Escort, I don't. My ZR3 is awesome in my opinion. But thier x50 just did not light my fire when I had it. Nor does the STI.

The V1 is a tool, most others are toys.

    Right on--

Alot the others tell you yea its upgradable----until that time comes then they change there mind and you have to buy another new one at 300+

V-1 has always been really, truly upgradable with little $$$ or no money, depends.

Granted there are 3-4 great radar detectors out there, Just V-1 gets my money
