It's a great detector, but you may miss the ix while with others. I thought I would, but it turns out I use the V1 more in my car but my passengers get pissed off with it.

You'll be very impressed with the range.

Be sure to ask for a returned unit to save some $$.

yeah im definitly getting the refurb. i liked the ix just no need for it atm. no RLC or speed cams and never any updates for idaho lol. and i still got my redline lol

You will love the increased info you get with V1 such as arrows and bogey counter.

I made the same move myself a few weeks back. You should be very happy with the V1, but it takes some getting used to if you're switching from a unit with True-Lock. They each have their place, but since you've owned a RL already, the V1 shouldn't be much of a change. Congrats!
