Great feedback from an experienced detector user. Welcome to V1 Zombie Land. The V1 is a great unit and you will get many great years with it.
Very true!! I have had mine for about 3 weeks now, and I cant stop dreaming about radar.. Ohh man , just cant stop..Just really want diff color leds in my main unit. I love mods too.
Congrats on the V1 and I love mine more..lol
Man yall sound like yall just got some! Dreaming about radar?? Lol that's funny but true, I still love my V1! For the first couple of weeks I never muted any warning----it was just like music!!
Half the joy I get cruising my Z comes from sniffing out their hiding places with my v1.
haha i totally agree it truly is an amazing unit and it would be nice for different color leds.
on the v1 or in the concealed display? ive seen the concealed displays on the bay for around 90.00
You have gotta love em – the V1. It is so different driving a car without one. I just did the intermediate install in my good weather driver. Ran the cable to the console and for grins I installed the remote display on the power plug. Eventually I will move the display to just under the speedo for that stealth look. But sure is a different driving experience knowing that you are protected.
I find it amazing that there are disbelievers out there. I had a road trip a few weeks ago and one of the passengers made fun out of me putting the detector (V1) in the rental. Sometime later in his own car he was doing speeds that I was doing without any detector. Soon he was pulling away from my car. If he only knew how open he was to a several hundred dollar ticket.
