I have a 5% tint brow on my car. I know this will probably cut down on laser reception, but laser is LOS and if I can be hit, I can already see them, and a laser tone is just a congratulations and not a warning in my book anyway, so not particularly worried there, but how will it affect Radar?
*Tint is 5% Pinnacle F1 Ceramic and is marketed as non-metallic, non-conductive.
I am wondering if it would hurt radar reception any to move the detector up so the window is looking through the band instead of peaking under it. I get great reception out of the back of the car, which is the same tint but in 20%.
