    Default Ka responsive feature

Does anyone not use the normal Ka responsive feature. Does it murder the ramp up?
I wonder with Ka guard off and Ka responsive if it would act horrible on leaky Rd's?
I have never really switched it over.

Doesn't make a huge difference IMHO. The ramp-up on weak signals is a little more aggressive. I would not run that with Ka guard off though.

As far as Ka guard off your results may vary. Some days I can run with it off and only have one or two falses. Other days it can be just about unbearable. The number of falses with Ka guard off seems to be increasing though. More people must be buying Crapras LOL.

I'll have to try Ka OFF with response change.

This is exactly why the Guard's necessity is completely dependent on one's environment. It's fine on rural roads and highways, but get on an urban freeway and it goes bonkers.

Anyway, I don't see why anyone would want more aggressive ramp-up unless they're facing photo radar. Isn't this the only reason the responsive feature was implemented? I've never even thought to enable it though because of how smooth and linear the ramp-up is by default.

I travel in and between Cleveland and Columbus and have no problem hitting the mute button. It's all about situational awareness.

I had a car come up behind with a really weak Ka false. Finally he passed with windows all blacked out from window tint and the arrow moved forward. I would have not known he was a rabbit if I did not have Ka OFF.
