Cruising on a toll road highway today, I crest a hill and at the bottom to the side of the road I see a blacked out Dodge Charger FHP, unmarked, just sitting there positioned to direction of travel. No alerts from V1.
So I slow down, pass him, and after about 10 seconds of passing him the rear Ka starts to alert 3 to 4 bars. It seems that he was using IO tactics and was targeting other cars that were approaching him from behind. Perhaps forward facing.
This Ka alert was present for about 10-15 seconds and as I was driving the signal faded to about 2 or 1 bars and I started to speed up. Out of nowhere I get a 2nd bogey lock with the forward arrow! I slow to PSL and forward KA gets stronger while rear is gone and of course, about 20 seconds in, I see ANOTHER FHP crown vic, this time marked, slightly off axis, shooting c/o ka. V1 eats teamwork for breakfast. Wish I had it on video.
Needless to say huge smile on me face. There's no wonder why the V1 is so loved around here.
