After a couple of weeks of frustration, I finally found the sweet spot in programming my V1. It could quite possibly be quieter than my old X50. Despite that, I was still getting annoyed with the laser falses and the stupidity of the bogey counter in the city. It all finally came together last night when I had a real save. I was driving down a pretty empty two lane road in the suburbs when I get a Ka alert in front of me. It then went away as if it was picking up I/O, this happened again. I slowed down to PSL and waited, honestly thinking it was a false. The alert came back again, this time like it was a steady one LED as if it was picking up C/O. As I drove farther down the road (a good 2 minutes) the V1 slowly ramped up and I saw a cruiser turn his lights on from my side of the road and pull over a guy going the opposite direction. I could not have been happier with the sensitivity and outcome of that save. The LEO seemed to be using I/O until he saw the traffic. Good thing I had the V1 on!
