Bought a v1 should I tune or upgrade?

I bought a used v1. The version is 3.813 and I have been reading that this version is supposedly pretty hot... My question is would you upgrade this to the newest version or should I just do a tune up? (either way it needs to be sent in, is slightly out of tune on K band)

Send it in for tune up and thats it.Dont upgrade

Acquired the 3.813, dead on K-band. Sent it back to V1, they retuned; came home turned off 5 and never looked back.

Make sure to take the 3.813 down when you're not using it..

Tune only unless you are worried about POP, Ku-band (which means nothing in the US as it is not used here), traffic sensor drones, or excessive laser falses.

Yeah, the 3.813 is hot so like everyone said tune-up.

I just sent it in today. Anybody have an idea of how long it takes to get it back? I shipped from chicago
