What does the, U symbol mean?

On my brand new radar, I just finished programing, and when I turn it on, it displays diff symbols, then stays on a, U symbol the entire time? Can anyone help me as to what this means? Is it broke or something? I attached a picture of what it shows.

You have it in Euro mode.

Euro mode is for Europe.To change it back when you turn on the v1 hold the vol button in for 5 seconds.This will get you into prog mode.Cycle through the diff letters and numbers until you get to U.To cycle push the vol button.When you get to U hold the vol button until the arrow changes.Shut off the v1 and power back up.It should be either A, L, or l mode.
