I ordered a new V1 on Monday. Paid for 2 day shipping and ordered before noon so I would get it by Wednesday since I no kidding needed it Friday. I came home from work on Wednesday - no delivery but a phone message from VR asking them to call. It was after hours so I called back this morning. They were calling to tell me that because I returned one previously I would be subject to a $100 restock fee if this one was returned. I said fine, but did it ship? Nope! Why on earth did they wait until Wednesday to call me?! Why do they say if you order before noon it will ship the same day? Yes, they did upgrade to overnight shipping for a Friday delivery but come on, it's still a foul. Now I won't have time to hardwire it before the weekend when I really needed it.
I've definitely read more bad stories of VR customer service than good stories. And yes, it was 'the' grumpy woman. What crap.
