Should I be worried?

Hello,

Tonight my I drove by 3 cops and didn't get a sign out of my V1... but it does seem to be picking up random Ka... I didn't think Ka was usually false, is it? And when it does go off, it's like instant on alerts would be, but I drive around the area just to be sure and can't find any cops. I'm just worried it might not be working right, but I don't wanna send it off if I don't have to.

Dude ... the V1 picks up radar, not cop cars. If the LEOs are simply congregating with radar off, and not working traffic, you will not get a signal. Your V1 is fine.

I'm guessing that you JUST got it and also recently - right? Maybe it is your first high quality detector too?

Actually it sounds to me like it is probably working fine.

So... go for a nice long drive pretty much anywhere in the USA and pretty soon you WILL get shot!

Also, if those LEO's were looking for customers then they could have been using "instant on" and then no radar detector made warns until they actually pull the trigger. Also if they were using a LIDAR gun then you simply may not have been selected.
