    Default auto mute not working

i have the newest version 1.85 3.893 that i purchased last week. i enabled the features b thru G by making 7 arrow down but when i get a K alert it does not mute for 30 seconds or at 4 lights. i have 7-down 8-down b-down C-up e-up E-down and the rest factory. am i missing something?

why return 8? i want volume set to zero and not controlled by the knob. F is stay muted at 6 lights (default is off) and i prefer 4 lights. does it have to be in Logic mode or something?

You'll have to experiment for what is best for your travel area. That's the beauty of the V1, customization. I'm coming from speed drone area but take a minimalist approach.

"A" to reverse 7 down setting on the fly.

Just checking. You do know that E up (normal) is an I/O instant signal of greater of 4 LEDs to alarm, and F up (normal) is a ramp-up C/O signal of great than 6 LEDs to alarm? I would leave E and F normal, up. Number 7 down is for only b,C,d options. With 8 down and the alarm is pushed and muted for zero volume, better keep an eye on the signals, because an I/O hit or laser afterwards is not going to get your attention very fast. I use 7 and b down, tab half way, main volume full in little l mode so I can see everything but have weak X/K alarms at a lower tab volume mostly for a priority volume RD.....

thanks, North. i'm going to keep E and F up to normal because i wasn't aware of that issue. i will keep 8 up and mute tab half way just to get some sound. that all makes perfect sense.

i know, Norm, i love that feature of setting on the fly. when i'm on a road that is all commerce (popular on rt17 in NJ) the V1 goes insane so i will have it set to L. on the parkway or turnpike i will have it set to A with all bands active.
