Default quieting the V1 without C100 or savvy, is it possible?

So basically I was wondering if there are any other products that can basically act like either of these projects and have muting below a certain speed. My car is too old for savvy haha and the Cheetah C100 with everything I would need would be over $400 and thats a little steep. Thanks

Well the k band muting would help. But Savvy is the way to go. I run my V1 in All bogeys mode all the time thanks to Savvy.

I run all bogey mode too. I really dont want to mute the K band based on strength but rather speed.

yeah right now i don't think it is possible, maybe in the future it can be done by an app that connects via gps... thats the only way since u don't have a compatible port...

I use the V1 as a 2 volume RD, tab half way and main volume at full. With the V1 programmed (7 and b down, little l mode), non important alarms (weak X/K signals) are at a low volume and everthing else is at the full volume to respond. Put the V1 in the big L mode and stuff will jump out at you when it comes into alarm which I do not like because I deal with I/O. You can program futher but take more chances....

Nothing saying your car is out of date and V1 isn't.

With the Cheetah mirror I used to set the "Minimum Alert Speed" to 30 MPH around town and use the "City" setting on the mirror, then set the Cheetah volume about half way. Unfortunately, that does not work with 3.893 version, so it's back to the old beeps.
