    Default The Arrows rule!!!

Driving to work this morning north bound on rt 3, as I merge onto 32 heading toward Ft Meade I receive a rear arrow K-band alert. I look in the mirror and I can see Anne Arundel Count’s finest about ¼ mile behind me with a few cars in between us. As we roll over and down some hills my V1 jumps between 3 and 5 lights. The leo is stuck behind a car and stays relatively the same ¼ mile behind me. Here’s the kicker, and why I love the V1 so much. A car, driving next to me has what looks like a black passport x50. Nada on his detection of the K band following us. I’m drive on his passenger side just behind, I can clearly see into his ride. After about 30 seconds I finally see his detector going off, he slows down and his head is on a swivel. I just start laughing, while passing him I wanted to let him know he had nothing to worry about because the leo was behind us. Next time get a V1

The rival competitors say there's a very slim chance of rear radar being used because they don't have any defense against it. How can the arrows be a gimmick when they save your ass literally. No wonder why people turn into V1 Zombies.

Yeah because if he bought an x50 he clearly had $500 for a V1...

You can get a V1 for less than 400 shipped. Actually right around 380 or so....

This is why I want Escort to make an RD with arrows. The arrows do rule! Think of an RD with arrows coupled with Escort Live! This "arrow" RD would automatically learn false alert locations and lock them out. No more constant false alarms like an RD on meth (current V1). Being able to be a part of a social network of other RD users and seeing that info graphically.

Escort does not think there is a market for this product. At least that is what they say. Shown them otherwise by voting in my poll titled "Threat Location Arrows (TLA) on a new detector Poll"
    Here is the link:
Threat Location Arrows (TLA) on a new detector Poll - Escort Radar Forum

Even though Escort says they are not interested Valentines patent ran out this year. Given enough people showing interest I believe they will change their mind. Similar to band segmentation. We need your vote of interest! Please vote you are interested!

Most of the police in Ohio are not measuring speeds as they sit or move through traffic. Waze works better as I can input the type of car and direction. From that I can used the time stamp to determine approximately when I might incur the Leo.

I was on the freeway recently when I received a rear KA alert on the V1. Couldn't see a LEO in the rear view but sure enough he came up behind me a couple of miles later. As he went by the arrows switched to the front. Just before he went out of site(still had him alerting on the V1) I had ANOTHER KA alert. And another LEO came onto the freeway behind me from an on ramp we just passed. So both Arrows were going. Can't replace that kind of situational awareness.

I was getting on 287 My V1 shows the KA arrow and sure enough a NYS Trooper is following from behind shooting KA. I pull over to the middle lane at about 70 MPH or so. I didn't drop my speed much as I've found most of the NYS Troopers are reasonable and want to stop the dangerous drivers and will tolerate speeds of 70 or so as long as your driving responsibly and with the flow of traffic. Anyway a guy in a SUV blows past me and the Trooper lights him up.
Great situational awareness thanks to the V1 and possibly another save.
