So I will be going to Virginia and i know detectors are illegal, but I have heard that there is a way for LEO to detect my V1 if i have it kind of out of sight and that they can confiscate it. Any Truth that they can detect a V1?

yes they definitely can detect it with a radar detector detector

The two V1 horns are very detectable by any of the Spectre’s in VA. You would need to have an Escort M3 RD to provide stealth.

VG protected but not against the Spectre.
Likely hood of running into one is on the low side.
