V1 Didn't Go Off?

So i was driving my normal route back home from work one night and saw all these cars with break lights on. I knew the spot they were stopping was the usual for cops to take speed but my radar detector never went off. Just for precautions, I slowed down before the spot and there I see a cop clearly with his radar gun out. I'm not sure if it was my radar detector or he just never pulled the trigger but with all the traffic coming by and him looking through his radar gun it seemed that he really was taking radar. Could any explain to me what could of happen and whether or not a radar gun is being used that is practically undetectable? Thanks!

You can't pick up what is not there. He either did not shoot you or he might have been using laser and the V1 did not pick it up.

You sure it was a radar gun? Like fire65 said, it was probably laser.

omg OP smart enough to buy a V1 but not smart enough to realize it's not a "cop detector".
