I finally got my V1 direct wired into my car and am also using Savvy. I noticed something I've not seen before using a V1. Here goes my shot of explaining it!
Savvy is set at 35mph. Below that speed, I will look up and the bogey counter will show 1, and then 2 and then 3 and then 4. Between each of those additions, it BRIEFLY shows the "A" for all bogeys before it shows 2. Then, before it shows 3 bogeys, it BRIEFLY goes back to A.
In the past, it would just go 1,2,3,4. I would never see it flip back to show the A until the alerts were completely gone. Does this have something to do with Savvy b/c it didn't do that before I installed Savvy. I also notice Savvy is slow to boot the V1 unit when in the OBDII port. I read the manual and they said that could happen. Not a big deal, but it's noticeable.
Is this normal? I must say the unit is much quieter with the traffic filter on and Savvy at work. It honestly reminds me a lot of the Redline now in Highway -- V1 in "A" mode. Haven't had any run-ins yet with the law.
