The instructions should be a sticky. I have been running my rd with the custom sweep profile for over a month now, I can't imagine there is a better way.

I was just looking at the Tech Headquarters section in the V1 site that explains setting up custom sweeps. The site suggests setting up 34.7 GHz coverage in Custom Sweep 1 by setting the sliders at 34.623 GHz and 34.770 GHz. (Note: they don't add 34.7 coverage above 34.770.) They also suggest setting Custom Sweep 2 sliders at 35.423 GHz and 35.585 GHz for coverage of the 35.5 GHz frequency. These ranges are considerably narrower than suggested in the OP. Any thoughts?
The OP is correct & the best way to maximize optimum coverage.Normally you want a slightly wider sweep b/c some radar guns drift off the normal assigned frequency & possibly far enough off so that it's out-of-range of your detectors single 34.7GHz sweep segment.
You don't want to see blue/redlights in your mirror do you ?

After a few hours trying to program the V1C with my new V1 3.893 i think i am all set.
So far its preformed close to my updated RedLine, i like what the V1C shows on my phone but its totally dumb not to have landscape mode and no ability to run in the background. So i am sending in an old smart phone I have (Bionic) and will dedicate it to the V1C.

However its totally dumb not to have landscape mode and no ability to run in the background. So i am sending in an old smart phone I have (Bionic) to be fixed and will dedicate it to the V1C.
