V1 Questions

I just bought my 1st used V1 and I like it. My main complaint is that it goes off by every business I drive by. I turned the sensitivity down, but it doesn't seem to help. Is there something I over looked? Also, how do you know what version you have?

There are many ways to quite a V1. First is what model is it? Then go read a lot of threads, it has been covered many times.

Type the serial number in at the Valentine website. Also push in the button, hold, turn on the unit at the same time for the unit goes thru programming with each push, then turn off/on to get back to normal operation, see Valentine website on how to do this and how to program. K band door openers are a pain, you can use Savvy (V1 website again) or use big L mode (arrows 7 and b down in programming for starts), go to the website.....
