What is the real value of Custom Sweeps?

TIME, it takes time to scan all the band width, get rid of some and it is quicker. Filtering also takes time, take it off and you get alert at first wiff. Get rid of area that has falses, like 33.7 and below, and other unused freqs and you help get rid of the falses. Reaction of a RD at first wiff will give you more range and less missed I/O shots, checkout test for V1 and New RedLine. It is the only way to go if you have that option, makes a huge difference in speed of detector on I/O.

Pgaddict - I hope these responses have helped you find the answers you were looking for - they certainly did for me. Yea, I'd go for the updated software and since my V1 is only a couple months old, maybe in the future I may do the same. Sorry for "highjacking" your thread but I feel their responses were very useful and hopefully answered your concerns.

You need the ESP V1, "Connection" module, and an Android device to change the sweeps. Once changed the V1 will remember the settings if you do not have a Android phone linked to it, if you do it will display the freqs of alerts like the Belscorts do.
