From what Iv'e learned on this forum, modifying the V1's sweeps can save time between scans of each band and doing this, the detector can respond quicker to radar sources as well as eliminating some of the false signals operating on each band. So, how much time can be saved? Is it milliseconds or seconds?
And while on the subject, why does the operating manual caution about changing the sweeps or is it referring to changes in the user operating mode adjustments? In other words, is the manual warning about cutting out end sections of the sweeps that may have speed radar signals on it that varies with locations across the US (different manufactures of speed equipment operating on different frequencies within each band)?
