V1 Connection App - No Sound?

Hello,

I am using the Valentine V1 together with the bluetooth dongle and my iPhone and the V1Connection App. Everything is fine so far, except the fact that i do not get any sound notification in the app on my smartphone. As I installed my V1 in the headrest on the backseat i do want to get the sound from my iPhone and not from the device itself. As i do get the picture in the app, it must be possible to get an acoustic notification as well?

Is this a common problem of the app or do I have to change a setting? Does the other apps in the App Store support sound notifications?

I don't believe the V1C app has the ability to produce an alert through the phone, you will probably want to upgrade to a better app anyway. The YaV1 app has a lot more features and ability's, you can also choose the way the app will alert through the phone.

Give YaV1 a try, you will love it and the app developer is very involved in the community. You will need an Android phone, but it does not need service to work.

Is this a common problem of the app or do I have to change a setting?- It's not a problem...it's just not a "feature" of the V1C app.This app is only used to customize the scanning bandwidth limits of certain specified radar segments.

Does the other apps in the App Store support sound notifications?- Yes,as suggested by CJR238 the YaV1 app is the one that will meet the needs you are looking for.

Thank you very much for your replies. I already saw other apps as well but as i already mentioned, I do have an iPhone and don't want to use another device.

Any experiences with the StealthAssist App? Does it provide sound from the app?
