Well, if you install an LE on your motorcycle (where it totally transforms the V1 experience when used with the v1Driver app), you need to know whether to connect it to the battery -- always on -- or to a switched circuit. My BMW F800 ST has a fairly small 14 ah battery and I power a bunch of accessories, so I opted for a circuit that turns off after the key is switched off (the so-called GPS connection).
