LEO's out in force
The president was in my area today and LEO's were out in force. On the expressway a Trooper was sitting in the median with what appeared to be constant Ka on ------ V1 only got about .6 mile range detection on him from front ------less then that from rear ------ dunno if if he was actually sampling traffic or the radar gun was just on.
With the apporval rating of Bush these days it's no wonder they are out in force.....
may of had a radar gun turn on sitting on his front seating with a dough-nut box on top of it.

Yea I dunno what the range should be if they just have the radar guns(K Ka) on but aren't shooting anyone ------ anyone help me out on this?

Which way was the trooper pointing? If he was facing away from you that would make sense. For example, If he is facing North and you are driving north the gun is shooting towards the north. It would make sense then that you would get a better response when you pass him.
