Default Arrow Problems Fixed by Placement

I was having some issues with the arrows becoming confused after I passed a source, and I'm pretty sure it was because I had mounted a little high and the rear air-conditioner control was blocking rear reception.

I mounted it about an inch and a half lower and it has made a world of difference. I know this probably a huge DUH for some guys but hey, I'm a newbie when it comes to the V1.

Nothing to be embarassed about Red. I hung Rex's collar around the rear view and it threw off the Arrows..... ops:

that's interesting I wonder why it made such a difference --- are you getting much further range on detection now?

in your Avatar it looks like u have a dark band of tint at the top of the windshield. I didn't think tahoes and yukons had a dark tint band at the top of the windshield. I've owned a 99' 2-door tahoe and 3 yukon denalis..we have GM discount in our family so we loose less money by trading every year rather than 2+ years.

It could just be the angle and light reflections from when u took the photo.

P.S. the newer tahoes have a defroster dots located just above the rearview mirror where you have yours mounted now. So thats no longer an option to mount there for me.

I have mine mounted to the left of the rearview mirror on the same level. I'll put up some photos soon.
