I picked up my first and second scatter today

I was taking my brother back to work fter we had lunch and I was getting into a turn lasn and had to stay there for a bit with a yield on green type of light, all of a suddfen my V1 screems laser but my Zr3 was quite as a truck drives past me in the next lane over, I was like what the hell??? and as a car 2 LANES OVER comes driving by me it goes of again only for a second, both times.
I wasnt sure just what happend because I had havent had a experience with scatter where I didnt see the cop, on once did my 985 picked up scatter but I was inline behind the guy he was shooting.
So anyways I was like what the HEll is gonig on with my V1, I droped off my brother and drove back around to go home and then as I see him atlest 2500' from where I was shot I was like NO WAY!!!!

At that point I realized I picked up scatter and I was in total disbelief!!!!
I couild not believe it!!

MAN just shows you how supirior the V1 is!!!!!

so you picked up scatter 2500' away?! :shock: if so, thats amazing! i take it the scatter was from back?

No it was right as I was about to turn on the road where my Brothers work is, the cop was way down the road shooting people as they went under the bridge!!

I would show with a better pic but I dont have google earth!

wow. i feel very protected now with my V1, if i already didnt. i mean, i knew the laser was good, but this just sums it up for me. scatter at 2500', thats amazing. thanks for the story, glad your v1 is doing its job.

The v1 continues to amaze me also with it's sensitivity. If only it didnt false on neons and Nissans cruise systems then i'd be sooooooo happy.

IN the general section i posted a thread about how i picked up a laser shot of the car in front of me, and his X50 didn't even beep.

thats a great story

in the past 2 days i have been hit with laser (2) twice

in 1 instance i was behind a car that abruptly broke.... so slowed down then i heard laser and saw the cop behind the road.

i dont know if it was a scatter or he really targeted me...it would have been hard to get a clear shot of my car coz i was behind the car that abruptly broke

ohh well, at least it detects laser everytime i am targeted... still wont be connfident until i get a jammer (if anyone wants to sell me a laser jammer just pm or email me

I'd guess that the further the laser is from you or the target (within reason), the easier it would be to pick it up, since the beam would spread out more?
