I DID IT !!! Ordered Today !!!

Well, I ordered my "returned" unit today. This was after hanging up in disgust with "Penny" earlier..... she was about as helpful as a fart in a wet suit.

So I regained my composure and called back this afternoon and spoke to "Joe" who very politely took my order for a V1 AND a case.
($394.09 total)

He informed me that they did not have any "returned" units right now, but would ship one out as soon as they had one. He also said they would call me when it ships.

I also ordered one of the Modified Remotes from Lifespeed for $80 today.

With any luck, I'll have them both next week. I wonder if I'll get the usual quick return phone call saying they just got some units in and are shipping out right away?

In any event.... it was all of the great info I've read on this board and the glowing reviews for the V1 above the competition that convinced me to get the V1.

What I REALLY like... is that this may very well be the LAST RD I have to buy with the incredible upgrade program that Valentine has in place.

I just HAD to brag.... I'll post as soon as I get word it's on it's way and when I get it.

I PM him with several questions over several days, and then I emailed him also with questions and then, ultimately with the order. He was very responsive and answered all my questions.

I paid him via Paypal Bank account transfer. $80 for the unit with the Band Indicator Modification.

I opted NOT to get the Signal Strength Modification for an addtl $20. I originally wanted to get the Signal Strength Mod, but he sort of talked me out of it.

I'll let you know what I think when I get everything....

I think you are all being too hard on Penny. I have had dealt with Penny many times over the years and she she has always been fair with me even to the point of taking a matter that was aginst VR policy to the attention of Mrs. V. and helped in my favor.

You'll love the Lifespeed remote display. I've had one for about 2-3 months, and it's quite impressive and worth every penny.
